Career objective

Looking for a challenging position of the Copy Editor in the reputed Company with a view to use my wide experience for the benefit of the organization.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Uncommon customer service and sales skills
  • Remarkable math skills
  • Exceptionally friendly, helpful, polite and patient
  • Extremely self-motivated, reliable, honest and loyal
  • Creative, well presented, conscientious and hard working

Career Achievements

  • Trained eight technical authors from scratch to write for the Orange website and knowledge-base, having extracted source material from subject matter experts with low writing skills who had previously contributed “how-to” and sales material directly to agents and the public website.
  • This improved the perceived usefulness of our website, increasing positive feedback scores and customer visits while increasing efficiency and job satisfaction of agents on the phones.
  • Wrote and assisted in the making of a 10-minute drama video, Incoming Message, now shown annually in 85% of UK secondary schools.
  • This has a marked effect in reducing the amount of text bullying, as well as increasing the public’s awareness of Orange as a socially responsible telecoms service provider.
  • As a member of a team, produced corporate videos from conception to screening at a cost of about 100 an hour, as opposed to externally-sourced charges of 750 an hour.
