- Provide high level of secretarial support with the Coborn Unit, which includes a great deal of admin
- Provide admin for three awards, including all filing
- Arrange and send out invitations for CPA meetings
- Cover reception when required
- Order stationery
- Reformat typing from doctors and send out when approved
- Updating RIO for the wards at Coborn Unit on a weekly basis

Medical Secretary to Consultant Psychiatrist and team
- Provide high level of secretarial support for Consultant Psychiatrist, SCMO and SHO, typing from audio clinic letters, discharge summaries, CPA’s and reports for solicitors or courts.
- Manage diary for Consultant Psychiatrist, arranging appointments
- Open, sort and distribute mail
- Liaise with staff from social services and other hospitals and also deal with patients via telephone
- Liaise on an every day basis with outpatients, Community Psychiatric nurses from the teams.
- Screen calls when necessary, making and taking telephone calls and relaying messages to the appropriate person – dealing when possible without having to refer to consultant.
- Regular liaison with Home Office with reference to patients.
- Adhere strictly to patient confidentiality.
Education
- 2000-2002 Ridgewood High School, Wollaston – 5 GCSE’s in English,
- French, Combined Science (double award), Physical Education.
- 1998-2000 NVQ Levels 2 in Business Administration
- Together with NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Customer Relations.
