  • Carte Blanche Greetings are a well-known greetings card/plush manufacturer most famous for their brand of teddy – “me to you”.
  • This brand is currently in the market place in over 90 countries, and distributors in the UK include Hallmark, Tesco, Asda, Morrison, Sainsbury’s and Clinton’s cards.
  • I am currently responsible for their Inventory Control Department, comprising 5 direct reports encompassing 3D stock controller, 2D Stock Controller, Warehouse controller, 3D & Brokerage Controller, Gift Dressings & Brokerage controller.
  • Top line responsibility is the management and maintenance of inventory across entire business – equating to over 17,000 SKUs at multiple locations.
  • Very much a multi-faceted role my time is split between dealing with suppliers/shippers in Far East – expediting of orders, and general shipping issues, project work for the management group, man-management of team providing motivation/guidance where needed.

  • Following promotion from the Supervisors role listed below, my role within the operations team as Warehouse Manager is to be responsible for the Ford Care Centre for Fittleworth Medical – a home delivery company which services the ostomy and incontinence market.
  • I am directly responsible for new recruitment within the building, and currently have 16 employees reporting to me.
  • I oversee the main picking/packing operation, goods-in/goods-out, cutting room, and samples department. My main responsibility is to ensure that the care centre runs efficiently and effectively, whilst delivering service level agreements to clients and management alike.
  • The care centre’s performance is recorded and evaluated monthly by senior management, then presented to me in the form of KPI’s which I then evaluate and use to set my team targets during our regular team meetings.
