  • Partridge House is a home run for elderly residents with acute and incurable mental health issues, in particular, with Dementia.
  • During my time at Partridge House I have developed a wide array of skills, such as care planning, liaising with the MDT, working 1:1 with residents with acute distress and aggression and dispensing and ordering medication. I have also become skilled in being responsible for the team of carers on every shift and the supervision of these carers. Through working with residents with various complex physical disabilities I have developed general nursing skills, such as how to care plan for complications such as Diabetes, Strokes, Parkinson s and Epilepsy.
  • I left this job to develop my skills in the acute mental health field.
  • I also went travelling around Cuba and the Caribbean.
