Career Achievements
- I have supported and assessed candidates carrying out NVQ’s within childcare. I have visited candidates completing NVQ level 3’s within their work settings and graded their practices and knowledge against a set criteria laid out by Cache.
- I have undertaken and fronted a Preschool Learning Alliance and Bristol Standards Accreditation Scheme. For this I had to implement a number of set standards laid out by the accreditation scheme covering staff, training and the settings premises, education offered to children, parental involvement and management.
- I have undertaken and fronted a Health Promoting Pre-school Scheme. For this I attended extended training in-order to promote a healthy pre-school with regards to children, staff and parents. My first project dealt with transition and how this effects children. I worked closely with staff, parents and outside agencies to create a library system of resources to support staff and parents positively through changes in children’s lives.
- I implemented a large number of changes within a nursery setting to raise standards and gain a strong good with Ofsted.
