  • Employed at Valley State Prison for Women in Chowchilla California where I was assigned to the
  • Mental Health Departments Crisis Unit from September 2008 until April 2009. My responsibilities
  • included triaging all crisis calls concerning inmates mental health. I assessed for suicide risk and
  • Referred to senior staff. It was my responsibility to follow up on all inmates that had
  • been released from Psych observation and placed on suicide watch and report findings to team.
  • Developed and managed a program which ensured all inmates medications were refilled
  • in a timely manner. Followed all movement of inmates being processed over the wall and made
  • sure their medications were available at their new location.
  • Assisted team of three Psychiatrists with noting all orders and administering medications as
  • needed. Followed up on all Medication inquires by team of 20 psychologists and assisted them with
  • their clients. Assisted with Coleman Audits by gathering necessary information for supervisors as
  • well as helping out in the In-patient Psych Unit as needed
