  • I am responsible for the full life cycle development of the student administration reporting solution with a user base of over 3000. This includes:
  • database/data warehouse design
  • analysis and requirements elicitation
  • designing, creating and amending universes
  • generating complex reports and generic reports for a wide audience

  • liaising with technical groups and customers
  • training customers and other developers

Business Objects Developer

2002 to 2005

  • Testing Universes that are newly building for upgraded system. Testing pre defined filters, universe level grouping objects, joins at universe level to make sure they are working fine. Reports testing and documenting them as per the company standards.
  • Using SQL Server 2005 to test the report data, universe testing and for the analysis. Rewriting the report level SQL for performance tuning.
  • DESKI 6.5.1 reports migration to DESKI XIR2 which cannot be built in WEBI and testing them for data accuracy and creating new reports in BOXI
  • Documentation and audit for the existing reports in order to save time and improve performance when creating new reports in WEBI XIR2.
