Operations Manager

  • Having proven my worth to the company by implementing and managing change within the SHEQ Department I was given full responsibility for the management and motivation of both technical services encompassing employment law consultancy and the supporting services.
  • I restructured the reporting lines promoting in house and also recruited new regional managers to enhance the team within the budget and created a technical sales team.
  • Since my appointment I have successfully introduced new products to the market and gained accreditation for all of the training courses.
  • We now deliver IOSH to our training services in house and to our wide diverse customer base.
  • I am also the main driver behind mhl moving towards the ISO 9001/ PAS 99 standard(s). Forward thinking, I look to the market place and work closely with the sales Director in order to develop sales strategies optimising contract profitability and improve client renewal rates.
  • I have successfully introduced over 50 bespoke management systems to the sales team who have improved sales substantially, to the point that mhl now lead sales with H&S as apposed historically employment law.
  • Currently my team now consist of 55 including 5 Regional managers and 25 peripatetic technical consultants and a support team of 25 office based staff.
