Career Achievements

• I provide telephone support to the staff when they need any help in using the SIMS.net database or any other package should the IT support department be busy. I have always worked very closely with IT Support in this position.
• I have been using Office 2007 for the past year, with the rest of the College having it rolled out over this Summer, and have been giving telephone support to those staff members who have experienced trouble with the new look.
• I always strive to be efficient and enjoy finding ways of improving how things are done. I enjoy being challenged and I am always working towards deadlines and I enjoy working as a team.

• The company has varied between 40 and 60 dealerships in size spread throughout the UK, requiring comprehensive applications for the retail Motor Trade.
• This includes extensive use of the ADP Autoline software throughout the business, total integration of all in-house applications and automatic communication with the Manufacturing systems in the Motor Trade.
• All aspects of hardware and software support are also covered.

2006 to 2008

LAMCO Ltd.

MIS Manager

• Both the Machinery and Motor Division of Lonrho Plc were merged into a single reporting unit (Lonrho Automotive & Machinery Company Ltd).
• At this time I was responsible for the whole of the Machinery and Motors business as described above and below.

2003 to 2006

• The company incorporated several companies in the retail and wholesale, agricultural and Construction business of selling units including tractors, combine harvesters and JCB style equipment and all aspects of the parts business.
• The companies included Saville Tractors Ltd, Western Machinery Ltd, Watveare Ltd, Sportworks Ltd and Nicol and  Ltd.
• In all there were over 60 sites selling either retail or wholesale equipment and spare parts.
