- Initially employed to complete the final commissioning and hand over of the Medical Treatment Facility at Camp Bastion.
- Moved onto the companies minor works department, oversaw a number of small contracts, and gained experience dealing with various customers and suppliers within the Kandahar environment.
- Was re deployed to run the Mechanical Installation of the new Role 3 Medical Treatment Facility at Kandahar.
- Produced the commissioning documentation, to the client’s approval.
- Part of the commissioning team that completed the hospital and brought the hospital into active service.
- At present I am the Facility Manager for the Role 3 MTF, running a team of 40 maintenance, housekeeping, admin and logistics staff in support of the hospital, dealing daily with the US Navy and NATO Maintenance Supply Agency.
