Career Achievements

• I have a keen interest in all genres of music from which I apply my knowledge and fondness to writing for various publications and a music website from time to time.
• I volunteer at my local hospital radio each week where I host my own radio show.
• I also enjoy learning foreign languages and attend night classes to improve on my Spanish and to learn German.
• I love amateur photography. Having recently completed a photography course I utilise the skills learnt on my travels and in social situations such as weddings and parties.

Account Executive

• Having secured a long-awaited career change within the business I joined the Photographic Studio in the Publications New Media department. I joined as part of the Account Management Team. Providing photographic requirements for the Argos catalogue its quarterly Christmas Catalogue the Homebase Kitchens and Bathrooms brochures as well as various ad-hoc flyers POS paraphernalia editorial shoots web-photography and newspaper advertisements. For this role my duties are:
• Attending photographic briefings.
• Briefing the photographers art-directors and stylists on each shoot.
• Cross-referencing sample requirements with-hoc products props and clothing for shots when on set.
• Liaising with stakeholders Production and Print Teams as well as the Design Agencies Art-workers and Repro-House.
• Choosing adult and child models for shoots. Holding casting sessions. Modelling for the catalogue myself when required. I also negotiated rates with model agencies and assisting with models needs and direction when attending shoots at the Studio.
• Assisting photographers in the absence of photographic assistants stylists or studio runners.
• Reporting of photographic metrics against photographic schedules and KPIs.
• Quoting for photographic projects and ensuring monthly billing of any photographic work is undertaken.
• Training of new colleagues.
• Representing the Photographic Studio and being an ambassador for its contribution to the business as a whole.
