  • My key tasks were as follows: accurate and timely measurements of all components, tools, models submitted for measurement using 3D CMM?s (PC DMIS CAD software) or other appropriate equipment, evaluate results of measurement against relevant engineering drawings and identify features away from specification,
  • Perform visual assessment of samples and identification of features out of tolerance, prepare dimensional sample reports which clearly identify features away from tolerance zone, liaise with customers and design office on dimensional evaluation,
  • Calibration of gauges and measuring equipment, maintain reports within the filing system, set up CMM programmes and ensure their operation,
  • Assist in carrying out routine maintenance on CMM, ensure housekeeping in the Metrology area is maintained in a satisfactory condition
