  • With responsibilities for production of plans, isometrics, specifications, workscopes and planning programmes for various in house projects. On site supervision of the works involved, and assistance with preparation of validation documentation.
  • Projects: Replacement of liquid ring vacuum pump with 2 stage centrifugal unit.
  • Upgrade of site wide caustic supply system.
  • Replacement of glass lined reactor & associated pipework & services.
  • Installation of site wide condensate recovery system.
  • Upgrade of water softening equipment and supply for site users.
  • Installation of metering equipment for monitoring site usage of services to individual units.

  • Projects: Replacement of batch cooking & filling equipment for spreads plant at Hazlewood foods plant at Kiverton. Also investigations of services on site and front end engineering work for upgrading of baking and chilled storage facilities on site.
  • Upgrade of batch cooking and filling equipment for soups/sauces plant at Hazlewood – R & B Foods Plant, Bristol.
  • Planning of new laboratory for Genzyme at Haverhill
  • Installation of flour heat treatment facilities and storage expansion at Rank Hovis Mill, Selby.

  • With responsibilities for production of plans, specifications, workscopes and planning programmes for various small projects in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Also on site supervision of the works involved.
  • Projects: Project & site manager/engineer for refurbishment of Flavours factory for Synergy Flavours at High Wycombe (ex Twyford)
  • Project co-ordinator for general purpose API plant revamp at Rhodia ChiRex, Holmes Chapel. Responsibilities included co-ordination of works between the client and the main contractor to ensure no “gaps” were left between existing, refurbished and new plant through the construction, commissioning and validation processes.
  • Project engineering & planning installation of a new baking line at British Bakeries, Erith.
  • Project engineering, planning and construction management for replacement of scrubbing facilities and upgrading of effluent treatment plant at Nestle, Hadfield. Also planning & design work for minor modifications at Nestle, Ashbourne
