Senior Oracle Developer

  • I was asked back to Thomson Reuters initially as a senior developer and later approached to take on a technical team lead position within NDA.
  • NDA (Numeric Database Architecture) is the data warehouse for Reuters Equity, Time Series and Market Reference data, collecting content for market known products such as Reuters 3000 Xtra and Datascope Equities. The NDA development group is responsible for developing and supporting the applications that collect data into the NDA database and the applications that distribute the data to products.
  • RDSS comprises a core application suite maintaining all reference data on NDA so that content can be classified and navigated by clients.
