Career Achievements

  • I have participated in writing two townscape assessments for Manchester city centre, including a Tesco Development, and an assessment regarding the impact of building work in relation to the regeneration of a badly maintained council estate.
  • I have assisted in the improvements to the A46 between Newark and Widmerpool for the Highways Agency with regard to appropriate building material and the horticultural aspects of the improvements. I was also involved in the adjustments to CAD drawings for the M1 widening scheme.
  • During my time at The University of Sheffield, I contributed to an impact assessment for the construction of a wind farm situated in the Peak District. I also successfully completed a 15,000 word dissertation on a planning policy related theme during my degree.

  • Since joining this company I have started the Path to the Chartership for Landscape Architect and gradually developing skills in this area. Main duties include:
  • Working on series of new housing development, regeneration projects and mitigation strategies
  • Create outputs maps from the Natural England workshops to show the new opportunities to improve Green Infrastructure of West of England
  • Create landscape design and construction drawings
  • Prepare planting proposals and schedules
