• I work as part of a team of Data Architects and DBAs supporting a variety of development and strategic projects and programs that are regional and global in scope.
• I provide support to development teams in their analysis of business requirements, producing conceptual and logical data models using a CASE tool (Erwin pre-2007, ER Studio from 2007) to fully document and maintain the data models.
• I have successfully provided the logical data models and ETL source to target data mapping for new data warehouse projects, including designing enhancements to existing data warehouse data models and creating data marts.
• When developing a logical data model I search across the enterprise to identify reuse opportunities and source of record for data. I also actively manage data at a Data Asset and Portfolio level in order to better understand data across the organization and find ways to improve the management of the data.
• I work on strategic projects with portfolio leads and business owners, where I identify, discuss, agree, define and document the data management and migration strategies for portfolios or data assets.
