• Network Analyst working as part of a team adopting all Unilever European sites into a new data centre in the UK. Directly responsible for ensuring sites are fully managed, documented and monitored without loss of service.
• Four years contracting for Unilever Europe. Four months as a Service Analyst supporting Corporate Centre users. Three years in the Consumer Administration Team where I assisted with various projects including remote access for 3rd party users, the ‘Odyssey’ project – (transition from NT to XP), testing the integrated management system for creating new accounts – (SIM).
• Three years contracting for Sytec Resources in Wellington, New Zealand. First year sole charge of evening shift helpdesk and a further two years in the Backoffice in user account administration providing an efficient and friendly service in a pressured environment.

• Working as part of a Reactive and Pro-active Network Monitoring team. Reacting to various alarms for Cisco routers connected via a wide range of network configurations through monitoring tools including
• HP Open view and Master cell. Problem analysis and diagnosis were carried out using a collaboration of diagnostic tools and accessing router. Logging problems using global ticketing systems: Remedy, GPCs, Generating customer awareness of those problems according to strict SLA’s. Responsible for providing telephone technical support.
• Other duties include call management of WAN related problems, monitoring Cisco Pix Firewalls, communicating with third party suppliers, testing connectivity of services and engaging global helpdesk to assist with faults on an international scale.
• Fluent in English, French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
• These skills benefit me when I need to engage the support of local telecom companies, which is essential when faults need to be rectified throughout the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
