Experience

Business Analyst

2006 to Present.

  • The docbase hosting arm of the Content Management service is a myriad of heterogeneous systems that provide solutions for numerous Business Units.
  • The service is a complex landscape that had evolved over many years without adequate documentation.
  • Review to standardize legacy documentation for the service in order to plan, map and author new service documentation including Service Design, SLA and Configuration Management documents.
  • I also developed a logical data model which will hopefully be a useful addition to local documentation.

Systems Analyst

A Garda Siochana LTD.

  • The system allows members of AGS to record details of Incidents attended and then to record details of the resultant legal processes, from investigation and arrest through charging and summonsing to the outcome of court appearances.
  • I was originally given a 6-month contract with responsibility for maintaining the reference code tables used by the PULSE application (via an Access front end on the Oracle database) and to provide support to the PULSE user help desk in matters relating to system operation and use.
  • These tasks were well within my capabilities, so I looked to add value to the work.
