• Attending Incidents, trouble tickets, Service requests allocated by help-desk and resolution as per defined metrics and service level agreements (SLA ).
• Perform routine health check up of core network and security infrastructure, respond to firewall and network link failure alerts from monitoring station dash-board.
• Implementing Change Requests (CR) for firewall policy – rule base change according to customer requirements.
• Implementing Routing Changes, Router configuration changes, VLAN changes in access switches, port-security, spanning-tree port fast features as per approved Change Requests ( CR ).
• Analyzing log reports generated by IPS appliance whether it is false positive or real security incident and taking necessary corrective actions to avoid network compromise and intrusions.
• Log and update the Incident investigation and diagnosis. Monitoring the status and progress towards resolution of all open Incidents, ensure correct information is logged before closure of Incidents.
• Acting as technical bridge between service-provider technical team and customer side senior engineers for commissioning new MPLS circuits as part of new work order processing.
