- Instrumental in designing online reports tailored to individual managers needs resulting in tighter control and improved spend.

Senior Management Accountant
- In this role I have undertaken the management accounts for Primary Care, concentrating on the monthly reporting for Dental, Pharmacy, Ophthalmology and Practice Based Commissioning.
- On starting this role, I redesigned the board report to ensure that all Primary Care reporting lines were being reflected in the board report.
- I implemented new reports for my areas of responsibility using the business objects tools available; to ensure that the reports provided were understandable and of maximum use to the budget holders; in addition a narrative report was implemented for each business unit, which included variance analysis and charts to help bring the trends and the areas where over and under spending could be seen, to the attention of the budget holder.
- Reports are now produced in more detail than previously provided to ensure that the budget holder has the information they require to evaluate performance and assist in the management of their areas of responsibility.
- Monthly meetings are undertaken to review the financial position and to explain variances, in order to ensure that I accurately reported the financial positions of the business units and also to ensure that the budget holders were aware of the financial impact of any over and under performance.
